This position is primarily remote but supports engagement with a diverse clientele in school settings across Fremont, California. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other clinical professionals, to ensure a seamless delivery of care. • You will conduct initial assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs, incorporating both individual and group therapy.
• Your role will include leading therapeutic sessions using evidence-based practices, developing strategies to promote resilience and address dependencies.
• As a vital part of the treatment team, you will establish realistic treatment goals in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Your responsibilities also entail maintaining detailed and accurate records of client progress, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations, and collaborating with the clinical director for audits.
• You will play a key part in fostering open communication, participating in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance the services provided.
• Collaboration is key; you will work hand-in-hand with other health care professionals to coordinate comprehensive, integrated treatment plans for our clients.

Your primary focus will be on individuals facing mental health issues, including those experiencing substance dependencies, particularly within school settings. This demographic often requires a specialized approach that considers their unique circumstances, academic pressures, and social dynamics. Your expertise will ensure they receive the appropriate support and therapeutic interventions necessary for their recovery.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Active LCSW licensure is required.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience working in social work, mental health facilities, or substance use centers.
• Strong clinical skills combined with effective interpersonal abilities are essential, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in computer skills is necessary for managing client records and facilitating digital communication.

• Experience in a school setting is preferred, as it will enhance your ability to engage with young clients effectively.
• Previous work in dual diagnosis treatment scenarios is ideal, providing insight into the complexities involved in coordinated care.

This full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to USD 130,000 annually.
