Opportunity Details
Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a Medical Director for their Adult Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Programs.
Position Overview:
  • Employment Type: Hospital Employed, onsite
  • Schedule / Hours: (15-20 hours per week), Monday /Thursday or Tuesday/Friday on-site, shared weekend call 1:4, very easy tele-phonic call only
  • Patient Volume: Varies by census
  • Location: Sautee, GA - Beautiful North Georgia Mountains
  • Practice Setting: The physician will see a diverse adult patient population with substance abuse treatment issues in a PHP setting.
  • Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists
  • EMR / Technology: Tier (updating to new EMR in the fall)
  • Growth & Development: Advancement opportunities within an ever-growing organization.

Position Duties & Highlights:

  • Duties will include admission evaluations and assessments, treatment team management, discharge and administrative duties as related to patient care.
  • Clinical Leadership Role with staff supervision and participation in executive administrative/clinical meetings as needed.

* Must be BE/BC in General Psychiatry or BE/BC in Addiction Medicine with a GA license or the ability to obtain.
