Our Forensic Valuation and Ligation Support team is looking for a Director in Nashville, TN or the surrounding market. This person's primary focus will be providing litigation support services to family law attorneys. They will play a key role in business development, i.e. foster relationships with current referral sources, developing new relationships, overseeing projects, and developing staff. Engagements would include analyses of income, expenses and marital estates, valuation of closely held businesses, and expert witness services. This person will have experience as, or the desire to be, a testifying expert. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing team members, providing suggestions and feedback to improve the firm's processes related to our service offerings, and drive business development initiatives in your market.

Responsibilities
• Lead family law engagements utilizing analysts, senior consultants, and managers to support the expert witness.
• Develop case strategy, manage client expectations and multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Participate in developing business from existing and prospective clients by expanding relationships.
• Participate in marketing and business development efforts including webinars, presentations, and events.
• Act as key point of contact with client.
• Handle billing and other project management tasks.
• Coaching, advising, and directing team members in managing and meeting client expectations.
• Consult on family law engagements and provide valuable financial insight and clarity to counsel during all stages of a business dispute, from case theory development and discovery to expert witness testimony.
• Manage, with attention to detail, the assembly, maintenance, and finalization of working papers that support the expert opinions and/or calculations. Present findings in a succinct manner targeted to the knowledge base of your audience.
• Review reports and assist the expert witness in preparing for trial.
• Participate in deposition and trial settings, including assisting with preparations leading up to depositions and trials.
• Adhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
• 7+ years of related experience (emphasis on family law/litigation support services)
• One or more certifications (or work towards certification): CPA, CFE, CFF, ABV, ASA, CVA, MAFF ; CPA preferred
• Strong financial analysis skills and Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and active participation in networking
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple projects
