What You'll Do

As a Premium Auditor, you'll verify payroll, sales, and other business exposures used to determine commercial insurance premiums.


Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting on-site and remote audits for commercial insurance policies
  • Reviewing payroll records, tax filings, general ledgers, and other financial documents
  • Interviewing business owners and key personnel
  • Scheduling and managing audit appointments
  • Applying insurance classification and rating rules
  • Preparing professional audit reports using Microsoft Excel and proprietary systems
  • Delivering exceptional customer service throughout the audit process


Territory & Travel

This position services the Fort Wayne, IN area.

  • Conduct local field audits within the assigned territory
  • Supplement field work with hybrid audits completed from home
  • Manage your own appointments and schedule
  • Workload varies based on available assignments and the amount of work you choose to accept

Qualifications


Required

  • Associate degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, auditing, insurance, or financial record review
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and business software
  • Reliable transportation for local travel

Preferred
