Job description

Summary
CTC Group is seeking cleared Language Instructors to support foreign language instruction and testing for mission-focused language programs. This role is ideal for experienced instructors with professional proficiency in speaking, listening, and reading who can deliver adult language instruction, support student assessment, and contribute to curriculum and lesson development in a structured government environment.
Location: CONUS-Washington Metropolitan AreaResponsibilities
  • Provide language instruction to adult learners in a professional or government training environment.
  • Support a 40-hour work week, with approximately 20 hours focused on teaching and 20 hours focused on lesson development, student assessment, and testing support.
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver mission-focused language lessons aligned with student needs and program objectives.
  • Conduct language testing and student assessment activities in accordance with sponsor standards and program guidance.
  • Apply knowledge of history, culture, politics, economy, and current events to support relevant and effective language instruction.
  • Use foreign language learning technology, instructional tools, and teaching methods to support classroom delivery and student progress.
  • Work under the direction of experienced senior instructors and complete required sponsor training to become certified in mission-focused foreign language instruction and testing.
  • Support related instructional tasks including content management, course design, editing, quality control, selection, summarizing/gisting, and writing reports.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Language, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience providing language instruction to adults, preferably in a college or professional setting.
  • Required experience teaching adults within the last 5 years.
  • ICA Testing Requirements:
    • Translation Assessment (TA): 3
    • Speaking, Listening, and Reading: 5/5/5
  • Experience with language instruction/facilitation and language testing.
  • Experience with content management, course design, editing, quality control, selection, summarizing/gisting, and writing reports.

Pay Information
The final salary may be influenced by various factors, such as location, labor categories, experience, education, and/or certifications. CTC also provides a variety of benefits as well as opportunities for continuous education and development.
The estimated salary range for this position is $170,000 - $190,000.
