The Foreign Exchange & Trade Services Director is responsible for the strategic leadership, growth, and day-to-day management of Old National Bank's Foreign Exchange (FX) and Global Trade Services (GTS) businesses. This role oversees business development, client engagement, product strategy, risk management, sales execution, and operational effectiveness while partnering closely with Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Credit, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Executive Leadership. 

They lead efforts to expand foreign exchange and trade finance revenue by delivering consultative solutions to commercial and middle-market clients with international banking needs. This individual will serve as the bank's subject matter expert for foreign exchange risk management, international payments, and trade finance solutions while fostering strong internal partnerships across the organization. 

The Foreign Exchange & Trade Services Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for Old National Bank's Foreign Exchange (FX) and Global Trade Services (GTS) business. This individual is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding client relationships, enhancing product capabilities, and ensuring strong risk and operational management across the international banking platform. 

This role combines business development, strategic leadership, product expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to support the continued growth and success of Old National Bank's international banking capabilities. 

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $127,900/yr - $258,600/yr plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Guide investments in product capabilities and technology. 
  • Set budget and oversees project performance. 
  • Set goals for market and coverage models as ONB grows. 
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow Foreign Exchange and Global Trade Services revenue across the Old National organization.  
  • Partner with Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Consultants, Private Bankers, and other key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities.  
  • Establish annual business plans, revenue goals, and growth objectives aligned with organizational priorities.  
  • Collaborate with the executive team to ensure alignment with overall business goals and objectives 
  • Lead a team of trading risk managers, sales professionals, and other key roles to support the FX business. 
  • Monitor market trends, business performance, client activity, and profitability metrics to identify opportunities and adjust strategies as needed.  
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and exceptional client service.  
  • Partner with executive leadership to advance strategic initiatives that enhance the bank's international banking platform and client experience.
