Leads monthly, quarterly, and yearly SKU-level forecasting process. 

Receives and interprets input from the following sources to develop accurate demand forecasts for the organization that are ultimately submitted to the global supply planning organization: marketplace dynamics, sales account managers, sales analytics, US and Global marketing, finance organization, supply chain organization and others. 

Interacts with global supply planning organization to explain forecast changes at a macro and micro level. 

Assists sales account managers internally and externally (with customers) with account-specific, SKU-specific forecasts to improve overall forecast accuracy. 

Must be able to translate forecast output into commercially-relevant findings. 


Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 


Able to communicate with all levels of the sales, supply chain and finance organizations 

Able to multi-task, be organized and be a team player 

4+ years' experience forecasting, which should include advanced data analysis tools 

2+ years utilizing and implementing forecasting methodologies 

Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics or MBA 

4+ years' experience utilizing and implementing forecasting methodologies for SKU-heavy organizations in complex industries 

  Analysis of SKU level data to develop best in class forecasts for the US organization in an effort to achieve MAPE targets. Lead weekly and monthly meetings to receive input and develop accurate forecasts for submission to global supply chain organization. 

Specific duties include: 

Creates short term and long term forecasts for organization

Delivers accurate short term and long term forecasts 

Discovers business and operational issues through analysis of short and long term forecasts 

Navigates data and cross-functional teams as part of day to day activities 

Extracts data from various databases and tools 

Analyzes data trends, identifies root cause(s) and provides feedback to business leadership team 

Applies advanced knowledge of various forecasting methodologies and tools 

Collaborate with the Sales Account Management organization - Channel and Payer Development teams - to develop accurate SKU-level forecasts for each account. 


Additional Information

RESPONSIBILITIES: 


Candidates will work with fellow scientists to designing and executing experiments including small-scale studies, and pilot plant and manufacturing studies in a variety of types and scales of equipment from bench top to pilot-scale, and, as required, technology transfer and validation in commercial plants. 

Based on the analyses of these studies, these positions will be expected to develop and test new hypotheses to improve fundamental understanding of the chemical and biochemical processes, including bio-conjugation or large and small molecule combinations. 

This position will support process validation, quality by design, regulatory approaches, and quality systems 

This position requires a highly motivated individual with the ability to work closely with other members of the laboratory and the department in a matrix environment. 

This position will also collaborate with the pilot plan and manufacturing staff on experimental studies, clinical manufacturing, and process validation, including work with external contract manufacturing organizations
