Why Driving Caregivers Are So Important

Many of our clients need more than personal care—they need someone who can help them maintain their independence by:

  • Driving to doctor appointments
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Lunch outings and social activities
  • Church services and community events
  • Visiting family and friends

If you're dependable, patient, and enjoy helping others remain connected to their community, you'll make a tremendous difference in our clients' lives.

Why Join Griswold Home Care?

We value our caregivers and offer:

  • Weekly pay
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Overtime opportunities
  • Holiday bonuses
  • Referral bonuses
  • Employee appreciation programs
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Opportunities for advancement
  • Scholarship opportunities through the Jean Griswold Foundation
What You'll Do

As a Caregiver, you'll help seniors remain safely and comfortably in their homes by providing:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Transportation to appointments and outings
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping and laundry
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal care
  • Dementia and memory care support
  • Documentation and communication with our office team
Requirements

Transportation experience is highly valued.

Applicants must:

  • Have reliable transportation
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Maintain current auto insurance
  • Have a clean driving record
  • Be comfortable transporting senior clients
  • Be authorized to work in the United States

Previous caregiving experience is helpful but not required. Experience caring for a family member counts, and we provide training for the right candidates.
