The Metabolic Account Specialist position requires a seasoned biopharmaceutical sales professional who can effectively communicate clinically driven sales messages to a diverse range of key stakeholders, including endocrinologists, medical geneticists, orthopedic specialists, dentists/oral surgeons, pediatricians, and primary care physicians. This role offers an exciting opportunity in partnership with Regeneron to make a meaningful impact in a niche therapeutic area.

Position Summary:

  • Serve as a key liaison between the company and healthcare professionals (e.g., endocrinologists, medical geneticists, orthopedic specialists, dentists/oral surgeons, pediatricians, and primary care physicians) involved in the care of individuals with FOP.
  • Develop and execute account-specific strategies to drive awareness and adoption of the company's therapeutic solutions within the FOP market.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers (HCPs), and other decision-makers to ensure alignment with patient care goals.
  • Utilize clinical knowledge and market insights to deliver compelling, compliant, and solution-oriented messaging to healthcare professionals.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, medical affairs, patient support services, and market access) to align on strategies and execute account-level plans effectively.
  • Act as a resource for HCPs and their staff, providing education on the disease state, treatment options, and company support services.
  • Monitor and analyze local market trends to identify new opportunities for growth and proactively address challenges within the territory.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, congresses, and networking events to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships with stakeholders.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of account sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
  • Strong Endocrinology Specialty experience required.
  • Account management experience in calling on large group practices and/or integrated delivery networks.
  • Must live within the assigned territory and possess a valid driver's license with the ability to travel, including overnight, up to 70%.

Desired Requirements:

  • MBA preferred.
  • Rare/ultra-rare sales experience preferred including but not limited to musculoskeletal, progressive musculoskeletal, Endocrinology or orthopedic.
  • 2+ years of experience working with key thought leaders or high influence customers in large group practices, hospitals, or managed care organizations.
