It is a unique opportunity to be part of the Pro Football Hall of Fame! Our Mission is to Honor the Greatest of the Game, Preserve its History, Promote its Values & Celebrate Excellence Together.
Position Summary
The Security Screening Associate is responsible for conducting bag inspections and guest screening at museum entrances, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. This position will monitor museum access points, enforcing security procedures and assisting guests with entry into the facility. Multiple positions available covering weekdays and weekends.
Position Schedule
This is a part-time position, working up to 25 hours per week. Candidates must have open scheduling availability. This position will be working onsite at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
  • Conduct bag inspections and guest screening in accordance with established security procedures.
  • Monitor entry points to ensure only authorized items enter the facility.
  • Provide a welcoming and professional greeting to all guests.
  • Assist guests with entry flow, directions and general questions.
  • Maintain awareness, identify and respond appropriately to prohibited items or security concerns.
  • Follow all safety, security and operational policies and procedures.

  • Experience in security, public service, military, or similar roles (preferably in public venues like museums, events or attractions).
  • Strong observational skills, quick decision-making and solid problem-solving under pressure.
  • Professional communication, de-escalation and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with security systems (CCTV, alarms, magnetometers) and emergency procedures; CPR/First Aid.
  • Passion for football, people and safe, memorable guest experiences!
