About Cutalong:
Located in Mineral, Virginia, Tributer Resort spans 1,000 acres bordering Lake Anna and is poised to become a premier destination in Virginia. The development plan includes over 800 residential entitlements, featuring estate homes and homesites, executive homesites, cottages, villas, townhomes and luxury condominium accommodations. The resort's planned amenities include a spa & wellness center, multiple restaurants, social and conference meeting space and a rich array of resort activities all anchored by the prestigious Cutalong Golf Club.
Position Overview:
Our food and beverage team at Cutalong at Tributer Resort is seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-oriented Steward/Dishwasher to join our team. The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, washing dishes and kitchen utensils, and assisting with basic food prep and inventory organization as needed. This role is crucial to ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen operation.
Responsibilities
General responsibilities include:
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using manual and automatic dishwashing methods
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to restaurant procedures
  • Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries and supplies
  • Ensure all cleaning and sanitation supplies are stocked and stored properly
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and back-of-house areas at all times
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations as required by local laws
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic prep tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables) when needed
  • Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the supervisor
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service

Qualifications
  • No formal education required; prior stewarding or kitchen experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
