Job description

LCSS is accepting applications for the role of a District Wide Food Service Assistant Manager. This position works under supervision to prepare and serve appropriate quantities of food to meet menu requirements. In addition, food service employees work to maintain high standards of quality food production, sanitation, and safety practices.

This full-time assistant manager position is assigned to different schools throughout the district as needed to maintain meal service operations. Duties include covering managers, assistant managers, and employee absences, supporting schools with staffing shortages, and assisting where additional help is needed.

This is a separate position from the full-time floating employee role currently being advertised.
