Job description

Essential Functions
  • Oversee daily operations of the Food Services/Dietary Department.

  • Develop menus and ensure compliance with state, federal, and DPH regulations.

  • Maintain high standards for food quality, safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.

  • Manage food purchasing, inventory, vendors, and departmental budget.

  • Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and evaluate dietary staff.

  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and accurate weekly payroll reporting.

  • Maintain required dietary records, certifications, and documentation.

  • Coordinate food services for facility events and marketing activities.

  • Monitor resident/customer satisfaction with meals and take action to address concerns.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the dietary team and perform other duties as assigned.
