Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Purchasing Manager to join our successful group of restaurants.
Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Secure products and services at the best possible pricing without compromising on quality or service
  • Consolidate purchases to achieve maximum economic benefit
  • Forge close relationships with Management and Staff across the restaurants
  • Liaise between suppliers and restaurants to ensure their needs are being met
  • Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
  • Negotiate and agree contracts, monitoring the quality of service and product provided
  • Produce reports and statistics on spending and saving
  • Ensure the company purchasing systems are up to date with products and pricing to facilitate its smooth operation at the restaurant level
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or merchandise/financial planning. 
  • A bachelor's degree in business, purchasing, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and employees at all levels. 
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers to maximize the best prices and deals. 
  • Strong ability to analyze and solve problems. 
  • Plan and organize their work. 
  • Strong Time Management skills with self and team.
  • Able to interact professionally with suppliers, customers, and other employees.
