Job Opening: Full-Time Food Production Associate
Location: Zeeland, MI
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift – 8:00am-6pm Monday-Thursday. Fridays and weekends as needed.
Benefits: 401(k), Store Discount, Paid Time Off, Sick Time,  Health Insurance, Employee Assistance Program and Pet Insurance after 90 days.
Reports to: Production Manager
Sign on bonus: $500 after 6 months of employment

Position Summary:
As a Food Production Associate, you will be responsible for producing our Pangea Complete Crested Gecko Diet. Key duties include assembling equipment, measuring and packaging product, labeling, inspecting quality, and preparing items for inventory and distribution. Success in this role requires a strong focus on safety, teamwork, efficiency, and quality. 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure, weigh, and fill bags for packaging
  • Assemble and maintain production equipment
  • Seal, label, and inspect containers to ensure quality standards are met
  • Transport finished goods to designated inventory locations
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately
  • Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
  • Prioritize tasks effectively in collaboration with the team
  • Participation in annual full inventory audit
  • Willingness to cross-train in other departments as needed

Physical Demands:

  • Work may involve exposure to hazardous equipment and conditions
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and around distracting or uncomfortable noise levels
Work Environment:

  • Must be able to remain calm and productive in high-pressure situations
  • Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as required
  • Cross-training in other Production roles as needed
