Job Overview
The Doughnut Decorator / Processor is responsible for processing, finishing, and packaging Krispy Kreme products according to brand standards to ensure high-quality, fresh, and visually appealing products. This role supports shop operations by maintaining product quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while reflecting the high standards of Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation.
Key Responsibilities
Product Processing & Quality
  • Inspect products for quality according to Krispy Kreme handling and storage standards.
  • Apply fillings, icing, glazes, and toppings according to approved recipes and procedures.
  • Package products accurately and attractively according to company standards.
  • Place unprocessed products on screens or racks following production guidelines.
  • Monitor products during Hot Light hours and pre-pack hot products as required.
  • Monitor and restock the front showcase to maintain a full and appealing appearance.
  • Maintain and update waste logs accurately.

Guest Service & Brand Support
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to guests when needed.
  • Display excellent customer service skills to promote a welcoming shop environment.
  • Answer guest questions regarding products and promotions when assigned.
  • Engage in suggestive selling and upselling when interacting with guests.
  • Assist guests with carrying large or multiple-item orders.
  • Conduct shop tours when requested or assigned.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Krispy Kreme history, products, and current promotions.

Shop Operations & Inventory
  • Restock production and packaging areas to ensure sufficient fresh supplies at all times.
  • Utilize maintenance, production, and cleaning logs as required.
  • Cross-train in retail, sanitation, and load-out functions as assigned.
  • Support other shop operations during peak periods as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Cleaning & Sanitation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary processing and production area.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment, racks, screens, tools, and work surfaces.
  • Sweep and mop floors and remove trash.
  • Clean restrooms and exterior areas as assigned.
  • Perform any other cleaning or side work tasks assigned by management.
