The primary goal is to help CL&P establish and document a stronger product operations foundation, including ways of working and operating rhythms, to hand off a durable operating model for the team to run independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document team-specific ways-of-working standards designed to be sustainable beyond the engagement.

- Produce decision-ready readouts for leadership based on input gathered during the engagement.
- Establish portfolio-level operating processes, including intake and prioritization, roadmap and launch-calendar tracking, and reporting.
- Support stakeholder communication by informing partners about key dates, changes, and dependencies, and establishing a single source of truth for plans and decisions.
- Build scalable systems, workflows, and tooling, leveraging AI/automation where appropriate, to reduce manual effort post-engagement.
- Identify and document operational opportunity areas across the product development lifecycle, providing actionable recommendations for the team.
Must-Have Skills:
- 6+ years of experience in product operations, business operations, or a related field, with a background in project-based engagements for establishing new processes.
- Proven ability to design operational processes, rhythms, and systems in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, and to work independently within a defined scope.
- Fluency with operating cadences such as planning, OKRs, and QBRs, and the ability to synthesize inputs into clear, decision-ready outputs.
- Demonstrated experience in building leverage-creating tooling and workflows, including practical application of AI and automation.
- A strong ability to identify operational opportunities within a product development lifecycle and to prioritize recommendations.
- Excellent cross-functional partnering skills with product, engineering, TPM, design, and non-technical teams.
- Proficiency with product/ops tooling (e.g., Jira, Airtable) and adaptability in applying frameworks.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including clear executive updates.
Industry Experience:
- (Preferred) Consumer subscription, commerce/payments, identity, or lifecycle/growth domain experience.
- Experience operating within a commerce product operations team and supporting product teams focused on commerce lifecycle strategy and foundational capabilities.
