What we're looking for

We are seeking a Lead Engineer who is passionate about pushing important features that get used by users immediately. You'll be joining a high-impact, mission-driven team that solves complicated problems through software. As one of our early engineers, you will be involved in every step of the product development process, translating designs, wireframes, and business requirements into high-quality features, micro-apps, tools, and services for real customers.

What you’ll do
  • Ship 5-6x per day, always putting our designer’s work into production
  • Collaborate with the product squad to develop and deliver high-quality software
  • Be responsible for new feature development in the existing web app and creating any new apps along with the lead engineer
  • Ensure all features are built “product-first,” considering both UX and business implications
  • Contribute to the improvement of code quality, and overall development processes
Who you are
  • At least 4-years of experience building high-quality software in fast-paced and dynamic environments, ideally at early-stage startups or top tech companies
  • Proficiency in Typescript, React, and GraphQL—able to work with Rails backend
  • Great taste when it comes to building traditional SaaS and mobile apps
  • Proven track record of engineering slick products that users love
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with the product team
  • Ability to balance the need for speed with producing maintainable and high-quality code
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Growth mindset with a desire to rapidly develop skills and take on increasing responsibilities
  • Experience with our stack: Ruby on Rails backend, Typescript/React frontend
