As a dietary manager, you will prepare and serve meals, oversee foodservice operation, and ensures adequate food and supplies are available.You will:
  • Prepare and serve food to residents within the scheduled timeframe
  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures to address safe practices for food handling, inventory and storage of food and supplies to ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards are met. 
  • The Dietary Manager will train, manage and supervise food service staff, practice time management techniques, and ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction. 
  • Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
  • Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
  • Comply with state sanitation codes
  • Maintain inventory control, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
  • Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed
You Currently:
  • Have the ability to obtain Food Handler's card. Meet all mandatory health requirements by State regulations
  • Read, write, speak and understand English.
