KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and coordinate daily restaurant operations.
  • Lead, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members.
  • Prepare staff schedules and coordinate daily shifts.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, stock levels, and product availability.
  • Monitor sales, labour costs, expenses, and overall restaurant performance.
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve service issues professionally.
  • Implement procedures to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
  • Support promotional activities, sales initiatives, and business development.
  • Prepare operational reports and provide updates to senior management.
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and productive workplace environment.


QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Food Service Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar role.
  • Experience with recognized North American or international brands such as McDonald’s, A&W, Domino’s, Subway, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, or similar multinational QSR brands will be considered a strong asset.


  • Candidates should have experience working in high-volume, fast-paced restaurant environments, with exposure to staff supervision, customer service, food safety, inventory control, scheduling, cash handling, and day-to-day restaurant operations.
  • Proven experience managing restaurant or food service operations.
  • Strong leadership and team-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operating standards.
  • Experience with staff scheduling, inventory, and daily operations.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
