About the Role

Ember Management Group is hiringAM and PM Line Cooksto join the opening culinary team forBuccan, Imoto, and The Sandwich Shopin Coral Gables. This is a hands-on line position for cooks who thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven, scratch kitchen environment.

Line Cooks are responsible for executing menu items during service according to established recipes and standards, maintaining clean and organized stations, and supporting the culinary team with consistency, urgency, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Execute menu items during service according to recipes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain assigned station for service
  • Prepare components as needed to support AM or PM service.
  • Maintain station organization, cleanliness, and proper food labeling.
  • Operate and clean kitchen equipment including grills, saute stations, ovens, fryers, and smallware's.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Practice proper food handling, storage, labeling, and rotation.
  • Communicate effectively with chefs and teammates during service.
  • Support prep, breakdown, and closing duties as assigned.

AM Line Cook Focus

  • Morning prep and production to support lunch and dinner service.
  • Station setup, sauce and component preparation, and organization.
  • Supporting prep team with daily pars and service readiness.

PM Line Cook Focus

  • Dinner service execution with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Maintaining station flow during high-volume service.
