Job description

 

Who we are:  La Clnica de La Raza is a community-based health center committed to providing culturally appropriate, high-quality, and accessible health care to the diverse communities of the San Francisco Bay Area.

Major Areas of Responsibility include but are not limited to: 

  • Assist with coordination of food distribution program.

  • Greets participants and take basic information for reporting purposes

  • Assist with inventory of the food received and food distributed in a weekly basis.

  • Sort donated food, inspect, and pack perishable and non-perishable food for distribution.

  • Assist in putting together grocery bags to be distributed

  • Maintains work area in clean and orderly condition.

  • Work at other stations and in other departments as necessary

  • Work with TRUCHA staff to address any requests/changes that arise while the food distribution is going on

  • Assist in setting up and breaking down of the food distribution

  • Assist in entering data into the food distribution system currently being used.

  • Looking for volunteers for food distribution every Wednesday from 9-4
