Food & Beverage Shift Manager

The Opportunity
Lead a dynamic Food & Beverage team in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. As the Food & Beverage Shift Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, support and coach team members, and help deliver exceptional service across our dining venues. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, solving challenges, and ensuring every shift runs smoothly while creating an outstanding guest experience.


What You’ll Do

• Lead and support Food & Beverage team members during assigned shifts while maintaining an active floor presence through coaching, assistance, and feedback.

• Deliver exceptional guest service by ensuring satisfaction, resolving concerns, and encouraging repeat business.

• Support a positive team environment by addressing employee questions, concerns, and conflicts.

• Complete shift responsibilities, including cash drawer pulls, side work checks, server report closeouts, and daily operational tasks.

• Manage phone calls, emails, and department communications professionally and efficiently.

• Participate in F&B meetings and collaborate with leadership on department goals and improvements.

• Support events, promotions, racing, concerts, reservations, and special activities.

• Build strong relationships with internal departments, vendors, representatives, and local partners.


What We’re Looking For

• Previous Food & Beverage leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest experiences.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, coach, and support team members.
• Ability to handle guest concerns, employee issues, and stressful situations with professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members, other departments, vendors, and community partners.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to complete operational tasks accurately, including cash handling and reporting.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including email and other business applications.
• Flexible availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain a Minnesota Racing Commission gaming license.
