  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar environment.

  • Execute cocktails with precision and consistency.

  • Uphold all alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.

  • Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.

  • Support daily operational needs across the entire restaurant.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Assist with hiring, training, and developing bartenders and support staff.

  • Onboard new employees and contribute to a positive team culture.

  • Ensure smooth bar operations and model River Club’s service standards across all departments.

Program & Operational Management
  • Lead beverage menu development, including seasonal and specialty offerings.

  • Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and receiving.

  • Oversee cost controls, waste management, and financial performance of the beverage program.

  • Maintain POS programming (Toast).

  • Build and manage bar team schedules.

  • Participate in cross‑departmental planning for events and service improvements.

  • Contribute to dining room service, food‑related standards, and repair & maintenance oversight as part of the management team.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of bartending experience in high‑volume or high‑touch environments.

  • Prior leadership experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, and beverage trends.

  • Experience with inventory management and vendor communication.

  • Familiarity with Toast or similar POS systems.

  • Ability to train, motivate, and lead a team with clarity and consistency.

  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable balancing creative and operational responsibilities.

  • Genuine interest in full‑spectrum restaurant management beyond beverage operations.
