Job Description

The F & B Cost Controller's key accountabilities will be:

Food and beverage stock control

Labor cost analyses and controls

Continuously study weaknesses in controls implemented in the restaurant and recommend improvements

Analysis of data

Analysis of profit and loss statements 

Participation in budget and forecast process

Prepare variance analyses of key processes 


Also, the F & B Cost Controller will:

Maintain an orderly accounting filing system;

Communicate with the Corporate Controller and corporate accounting team to ensure all reporting requirements are delivered timely;

Supervise the bookkeeper and assist in responsibilities such as; accounts payable, house accounts, daily deposit reconciliation, daily sales reconciliation;


Qualifications

Required Qualifications and skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Accounting ; 

Minimum 5 years experiences working in the hospitality industry (Restaurant, Hotel, Country Club);

Proficiency in English, both oral and written;

Interest and experience in both accounting and F&B management;

Knowledge of ACCPAC software or similar accounting software; 

Experience in retail, restoration or hotelier industry.

Moderate knowledge of Excel;
