Job description

The hotel accounting clerk maintains the daily financial operations of a hospitality property. They process accounts payable/receivable, reconcile vendor statements, audit daily revenues, and handle cash drops.


Responsibilities:
  • Income Auditing: Reviewing daily revenue reports, balancing cashier drops, and posting adjustments to financial systems like Profitsword.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Processing vendor invoices, tracking advance deposits, and assisting with collections.
  • Treasury and Cash Handling: Issuing cashier banks, auditing petty cash, and preparing daily bank deposits.
  • Guest Inquiries: Researching credit card chargebacks and addressing guest questions regarding folio charges.

Qualifications:
  • Prior accounting experience.
  • Hotel or hospitality experience.
  • M3 and or Profitsword experience ideal.
