Position Title: Sales Executive - INSA

Business Unit: INSA

Reports To: Varies Based On Assignment

Position Overview: This position is primarily responsible for selling new business and renewing accounts in keeping with agency and individual goals. The incumbent conducts and reports sales activities to build a pipeline of prospects, generates sales prospects from various sources and carries the agency’s reputation and professional manner of conducting business into dealings with clients, agency personnel and companies represented. The incumbent works collaboratively with Bank partners in relationship building and in identifying financial service solutions for all customers.

  • Meets or exceeds established annual sales production goals via generation of new accounts to the agency as well as cross selling within the existing book of business. (New Business Sales)
  • Partners with Customer Service Representatives to renew existing business to meet or exceed established retention goals. (Retention)
  • Participates in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development and meets continuing education requirements.
  • Maintains a current level of functional working knowledge on processes and coverage changes.
  • Keeps abreast of selling trends and techniques and uses agency selling aids to help maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industry. (Self Development)
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Education: BA or BS

Minimum Years Experience: 3

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software MS Word - Basic Level
  • MS Excel - Intermediate Level

  • Experience with ITI, TAM and office systems preferred.
