Location: Cartersville, GA Area

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM


We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Professional for a high-volume, fast-paced company in the Cartersville, GA area.

This is a unique opportunity for an HR professional who has a strong understanding of employee relations, employment law, EEOC compliance, workplace investigations, sexual harassment, and FMLA, along with experience handling general accounting and financial responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, comfortable handling sensitive employee matters, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Human Resources Responsibillites

  • Manage day-to-day HR operations and employee relations.
  • Investigate employee complaints involving sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with EEOC requirements and federal and state employment laws.
  • Manage FMLA and other employee leaves of absence.
  • Handle employee relations and performance management matters.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Support payroll processes and benefits administration.
  • Partner with management on employee issues, policy interpretation, and corrective action.


Accounting & Financial Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations.
  • Review invoices and financial documentation.
  • Assist with payroll-related accounting.
  • Prepare financial reports and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of EEOC requirements and employment laws.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations.
  • Experience handling sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other employee-relations matters.
  • Strong knowledge and experience administering FMLA.
  • Experience with general accounting functions, including AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong conflict-resolution and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
