Our client is seeking a Part-Time Benefits Coordinator to administer employee leave programs and tuition reimbursement benefits. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding FMLA, leave of absence requests, and educational assistance programs while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and administer FMLA requests, including eligibility review, documentation tracking, employee communication, and return-to-work processes.
- Manage all aspects of employee Leave of Absence (LOA) programs, including medical, personal, parental, and disability-related leaves.
- Partner with third-party leave administrators, benefits carriers, payroll, and HR to ensure seamless leave administration.
- Support employees throughout the leave process by answering questions and providing guidance on available benefits and policies.
- Administer the company's Tuition Reimbursement Program, including application processing, eligibility verification, reimbursement approvals, and record maintenance.
- Track program participation and maintain accurate documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
- Assist with benefits communications and special HR projects as needed.
Qualifications- 2+ years of experience administering FMLA, LOA, disability, or employee benefits programs.
- Strong understanding of leave management regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Prior tuition reimbursement administration experience preferred.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
