Flexible Metal Inc. (FMI), a subsidiary of Hyspan Precision Products, is a local Tier 1 & 2 part and component supplier located near Southeast Michigan. FMI specializes in product design, engineering, development and manufacturing of tubular fabrication, welded tubular assemblies and fabricated exhaust manifolds.


SUMMARY

Flexible Metal Inc is seeking Machine Operators whose primarily responsible is to operate machinery to run parts for production meeting productivity and quality standards.

ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner adhering to company safety policies
  • Inspect parts for proper dimensions and visual defects as well as assist in identifying the cause of errors and other defects
  • Observe continuous operation of machines to ensure products meet quality specifications and detect jams or malfunctions and report them to the Team Lead
  • Accurately complete proper documentation for each operation
  • Must make clean and effective hand-offs from shift-to-shift.
  • Complete basic tasks
  • Follow directions and work well in a team
  • Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment
  • Adhere to all company policies
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
