To thrive as a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) worker, you typically need relevant trade qualifications or certifications, strong technical or operational skills, and a good level of physical fitness. Familiarity with industry-specific tools, safety systems, and compliance with occupational health and safety standards is crucial. This arrangement is common in industries where the work site is far from major population centers. Employees typically fly to the site, live there while working their shifts, and then fly home for their days off.
