Job description

The Systems Enhancements Specialist is responsible for prioritizing system enhancement requests for existing MLM systems, ensuring proper/value-add business justification:
  • Spec out with requestor new business requirements and validate audit compliance/impact, if applicable
  • Collaborate with ICT on high level estimate (solicit funding if required), user testing and deployment support
  • Review and approve all ICT Business Requirements Documents for work to commence as outlined
  • Document appropriate training, communicate deployment intentions with respective user base, point of contact during launch; collaborate with MLM Plant Logistics Support team for appropriate job function training transfer
  • Track ICT progress of initiatives through completion; escalate / remove barriers as needed
  • Define AI use cases to aid user training and data mining for past trends/future forecasts
  • Analyze key business metrics for troubled areas to assess opportunity to improve through system improvement
  • Lead for any new system development / new location launch within the MLM space (i.e. Modernization of mainframe to Web, automated solutions for unique circumstances)
  • Expected to travel as needed for process/system improvement evaluation, testing, deployment, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 6 years MLM/Supply Chain/ICT experience, directly working/interfacing with systems used / day-to-day processes
  • Project Management skills
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite basics (PowerPoint, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field
  • 6 or more years of coding and project management experience
  • Cost Deployment / Data stratification / Cost-Benefit Analysis
  • Successful development and deployment of analytic tools (i.e. Power BI, Power Apps)
