This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who enjoy building highly dynamic, user-facing features, working with connected device ecosystems, and contributing to scalable mobile architectures.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain iOS features for Home Protection experiences.
  • Collaborate with product, backend, and device teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Contribute to app architecture, design discussions, and high-leverage technical decisions.
  • Write clean, maintainable Swift code using modern iOS frameworks, while utilizing cross-platform frameworks where appropriate.
  • Implement and expand dynamic, Spec-Driven Development (SDD) rendering frameworks to deliver backend-driven mobile UI.
  • Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience across hardware/software integration layers.
  • Debug and resolve complex production and connectivity issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional iOS development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift.
  • Hands-on experience with Spec-Driven Development (SDD) or building UI frameworks driven dynamically by backend JSON schemas.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex client-side state logic.
  • Familiarity with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar architecture patterns.
  • Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional experience or deep familiarity with Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile development.
  • Experience building smart home, IoT, hardware activation, or physical device orchestration workflows.
  • Familiarity with SwiftUI, Combine, and modern iOS development tools.
  • Familiarity with IoT messaging protocols, particularly MQTT connection management, throttling, or backoff/failover logic.
  • Understanding of Apple's privacy policies, permissions, and app lifecycles.
  • Experience building or maintaining large-scale consumer applications.

How We Work

  • Squad-based development model with close collaboration across iOS, Android, and product management teams.
  • Regular design reviews and mobile guild meetings to align on architecture, cross-platform alignment, and best practices.
  • Strong onboarding program with clear 30-, 60-, and 90-day goals.
  • Emphasis on learning, growth, cutting-edge engineering workflows, and knowledge sharing.
