Job Title: RN - Registered Nurse Med/Surg
Location: Tacoma, WA 98413
Length of Assignment: Year Long Assignment
Working Hours: 36/week
Shift Timing: 12 hour Rotating shifts
Responsibilities of Registered Nurse:
  • Assess and care for patients based on age and diagnosis standards.
  • Communicate with Providers, Charge Nurse, and team about patient conditions.
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
  • Perform nursing duties under supervision in all departments.
  • Follow Five Medication Rights to prevent errors.
  • Develop and assess patient teaching plans; involve family as needed.
  • Interact with patients, families, and team with respect and empathy.
  • Address psychosocial, cultural, and religious needs of patients.
  • Provide age-appropriate care based on growth and development principles.
  • Document care and support personnel orientation and in-services.
Experience Required:
  • 1 years Registered Nurse experience.
Certificates Required:
  • RN License
  • BLS
  • Covid card
  • Booster
  • Flu shot
  • 2 references from past work facility
  • Driving License.
