Non-CDL Local Delivery Driver - Fresh Flower Distribution
Location: New Jersey / Greater Philadelphia Area
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Minimum 40 Hours per Week
Equipment: 16' Refrigerated Box Truck
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Non-CDL Driver to support local flower deliveries throughout New Jersey and the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of fresh flowers to retail stores, distribution centers, and customer locations while maintaining product quality and temperature requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a 10' refrigerated box truck for local deliveries.
  • Deliver fresh flowers to retail locations according to daily route schedules.
  • Load, secure, and unload floral products while minimizing product damage.
  • Maintain required temperature settings to preserve product quality.
  • Complete delivery documentation, obtain Proofs of Delivery (PODs), and report any delivery issues.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or customer concerns.
  • Follow all company safety policies and traffic regulations.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license (Non-CDL).
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving or local delivery experience.
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments and handle perishable products.
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications.
  • Basic English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering flowers, produce, or other perishable products.
  • Experience delivering to supermarkets, grocery stores, or distribution centers.
  • Familiarity with pallet jacks and material handling equipment.
