Familiarity with tools like irrigation systems, pruning shears, and greenhouse controls, as well as adherence to safety protocols, is essential. What is a flower farm?

A flower farm is a specialized agricultural business dedicated to the cultivation and harvesting of flowers and ornamental plants for commercial purposes. These farms grow a variety of flowers, both annual and perennial, which are sold to florists, wholesalers, local markets, and sometimes directly to consumers. Flower farms can range in size from small, family-run operations to large-scale enterprises. They often focus on sustainable practices, seasonal blooms, and may also provide agritourism experiences such as pick-your-own flower events. The main goal is to produce high-quality flowers for decorative, ceremonial, or retail use.
