If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.## Job Summary:The Senior Scientist - Flow Cytometry is responsible for developing and optimizing assays and methods of moderate complexity within the Translational Science Laboratory. This role supports timely delivery, technical troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable laboratory operations.## What You'll Be Doing:* Plan the assay and method development process and write scientific methods* Execute method development studies and support validation activities as needed* Troubleshoot assays and optimize processes to improve performance and sustainability* Transfer developed methods into the validation process and support analytical testing delivery* Collaborate across functions to ensure methods are scalable and sustainable in laboratory operations* Lead low to moderately complex technical projects and guide assigned team members to meet deliverables* Mentor and train junior staff while contributing to reports, presentations, and scientific communications## What We Are Looking For:* Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required* 4 years of related experience in method or assay development or specific methodology area* Experience with assay/method development, troubleshooting, and process optimization in a laboratory environment* Sound knowledge of scientific principles, theories, concepts, and state of the art instrumentation* Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree## The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:* Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail* Effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to work across functions* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently while meeting timeline expectations* Sound troubleshooting capabilities and application of root cause analysis and advanced problem solving techniques* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients## What We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs.
