Floor Tech. (Dayshift)

Hourly Range $13.93 to $ 20.62

Depending on Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and thorough Floor Tech to join our team. The Floor Tech will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the floors within our facilities. This includes performing routine floor maintenance tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine floor maintenance tasks, including mopping, sweeping, and polishing floors.
- Clean and sanitize floors by using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
- Inspect floors for any damages or issues and report them to the maintenance team.
- Remove any stains or marks on floors using specialized cleaning techniques.
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events by arranging and rearranging furniture as needed.
- Respond to and fulfill additional cleaning requests from other departments.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and report any shortages or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure job tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience as a Floor Tech or similar role is a plus.
- Knowledge of various floor cleaning techniques, equipment, and solutions.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor tasks.
