Your OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced Restaurant Floor Supervisor who is passionate about hospitality, leadership, and creating memorable guest experiences.
This is more than supervising a shift. You'll lead by example on the dining room floor, coach and develop service team members, maintain Grayson's luxury hospitality standards, and ensure every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.
The Restaurant Floor Supervisor serves as the bridge between the restaurant team and management, helping create an environment where guests feel welcomed and employees are empowered to succeed.
What You'll Do
  •  Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts. 
  •  Supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staff. 
  •  Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, menu features, and guest information. 
  •  Maintain a visible leadership presence throughout service. 
  •  Monitor service flow, pacing, and guest satisfaction. 
  •  Complete table touches and proactively resolve guest concerns. 
  •  Coach, mentor, and support team members during service. 
  •  Assist with onboarding and training new employees. 
  •  Partner with the culinary team to ensure seamless communication between the dining room and kitchen. 
  •  Manage reservations, seating flow, and special guest requests. 
  •  Ensure compliance with service, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards. 
  •  Complete opening and closing procedures, daily reports, and operational checklists. 
  •  Step into service positions as needed to ensure exceptional guest experiences. 
  •  Help build a positive, professional, and team-focused culture. 

What We're Looking For
  •  Minimum of 2 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant experience required. 
  •  Previous leadership experience as a Lead Server, Shift Leader, Supervisor, or similar role preferred. 
  •  Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and fine dining service standards. 
  •  Wine knowledge and the ability to recommend pairings confidently. 
  •  Exceptional leadership, communication, and guest service skills. 
  •  Professional appearance and polished demeanor. 
  •  Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 
  •  Ability to remain calm and lead effectively during busy service periods. 
  •  Team-first mindset with a passion for coaching others. 
  •  Must be at least 21 years of age. 
  •  Reliable transportation. 
  •  Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Work ScheduleThis position requires flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Restaurant Floor Supervisors are expected to be present during peak business periods and lead by example throughout each shift.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position provides day-to-day leadership and supervision for front-of-house team members, including servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staff. Responsibilities include coaching, training, assigning work, monitoring performance, and maintaining Grayson's service standards.
Physical Requirements
  •  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. 
  •  Ability to lift and carry trays, food, beverages, and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. 
  •  Frequent bending, reaching, climbing stairs, and repetitive movement throughout service. 
  •  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
