Floor Supervisor | KYU
The Floor Supervisor at KYU plays a key role in supporting front-of-house operations by leading service on the floor, supporting the service team, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This position focuses on hands-on leadership during service, guest engagement, and maintaining KYU’s service standards.
Floor Supervisors work closely with front-of-house leadership to support daily service execution while remaining actively involved on the floor alongside the team.

Responsibilities
• Lead and support the front-of-house team during service by setting the pace and tone on the floor
• Ensure consistent, high-quality guest service in alignment with KYU’s service standards
• Act as a point of contact on the floor for guest needs, questions, and service recovery
• Monitor guest flow, table progression, and service timing to support smooth operations
• Assist servers, bartenders, and support staff during peak service periods
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar to support timely and accurate service
• Step in to resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary
• Maintain awareness of menu items, specials, and service expectations
• Uphold KYU’s culture, values, and hospitality standards through hands-on leadership
• Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, and attention to detail
• Support training and onboarding of front-of-house staff during service shifts
• Ensure the dining room remains clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout service
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of experience in a front-of-house service role, such as Server, Captain, or Lead Server
• Experience in fine dining or high-volume restaurant environments
• Strong leadership presence on the floor without administrative responsibility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced service environment
• Strong understanding of service flow, guest relations, and teamwork
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and service-driven
• Positive attitude with a passion for hospitality and guest experience
