Position Details
  • Position: Assistant Property Manager
  • Location: Parkway Place Apartments, our 96-unit affordable residential community located in Melbourne, FL 32935
Key Qualifications
  • Tax Credit/Affordable (LIHTC) experience preferred
  • Yardi experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, not required
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Property Manager in achieving community goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Handle resident inquiries and complaints promptly and courteously
  • Manage work orders and maintenance requests using Yardi software
  • Coordinate lease renewals and rental increases
  • Conduct unit inspections and move-in/out processes
  • Support leasing activities and resident relations
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in Assistant or Leasing positions within the apartment industry; experience with affordable communities and Yardi software preferred
  • Experience with LIHTC communities and Yardi software is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Property Management software, strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Fair Employment Housing and EEO laws
