Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Nursing Support Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Hospital Float Pool Department in Bolivar, Missouri - someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
Position Details:
  • Status: Variable (Full‑Time/Part‑Time/PRN)
  • Work Shift: Variable ([Days/Evenings/Nights)
  • Hours: depending on shift
  • Shift Differential

What Your Day Looks Like: The nursing team at Citizens Memorial Hospital- Float Pool Unit strives to SERVE in the care we provide to patients, families and each other. Each nursing member brings their strengths to the team and works together to provide exceptional compassion and care to the community we serve. We strive to make a difference each day and promote a positive, team-driven attitude. Our float pool supplements staffing throughout the hospital based on need. Nurses who work in the Citizens Memorial Float Pool will be trained to float and support in a variety of areas including: Medical Surgical, Intensive Care, Telemetry, Geriatric Psych, The Birth Place, Emergency Department, and ASC- pre/post op recovery.
As a Float Pool RN, you will be:
  • Administering medications to manage patients' pain levels and medical needs.
  • Working closely with our providers to generate a plan for the day to coordinate admissions and discharges as the shift progresses.
  • Educating patient/family from admission to discharge
  • Maintaining patient/family confidentiality and privacy
  • Working with a great team of upbeat nursing staff and providers.

Qualifications:
Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree
Experience: Patient Care
Skills: Multitasking, patience, compassion, communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
Licensure/Certification: RN
Physical Requirements: the ability to stand for long periods of time and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
