Registered Nurse (Float)

Location: Fort Defiance, Arizona

Pay Rate: $2,600 to $2,800/Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Flexible 8–12 Hour Day/Night Shifts

Experience: Minimum 3 Years Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Fort Defiance, Arizona. The RN will provide direct patient care across the Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Adult Medical-Surgical, and Pediatric Medical-Surgical units. This position requires flexibility to float between departments while delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care across the Emergency Department, ICU, Adult Med-Surg, and Pediatric Med-Surg units.

  • Assess, monitor, and manage patients while implementing individualized nursing care plans.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and moderate sedation according to physician orders and clinical protocols.

  • Collaborate with physicians, House Supervisors, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support quality patient outcomes.

  • Accurately document patient care in RPMS EMR and assist other departments based on staffing needs.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience in Emergency, ICU, Adult Med-Surg, and Pediatric Med-Surg (experience in all specialties is required).

  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.

  • Moderate Sedation certification required or willingness to obtain through the facility after confirmation.

  • Ability to work flexible day/night shifts, weekends, holidays, and float to multiple departments as needed.
