Job Summary
The Flight Support Specialist role at flyExclusive involves comprehensive coordination and support for flight operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and client service excellence. Specialists oversee flight logs, passenger details, trip planning, regulatory requirements, and scheduling adjustments. They serve as key contacts for operational updates, maintaining communication with ground handlers, customs, and aviation authorities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Able to plan trips outside 24 hours to acquire any missing information needed. Missing information such as Pax names, Date of births, passport information, weights, etc.
  • Checks Notams // TFRs // PPRS & Slots against all upcoming trips making the appropriate departments aware of any changes required.
  • Notifying all FBOS and ground handlers of arrivals and departures. Arranging early and late ops for any flights outside normal business hours to ensure staffing.
  • Proficient in using Foreflight trip planning to ensure aircraft range and fuel reserves are met. If not, make the appropriate departments aware of the planned fuel stop.
  • Ensure all required customs, immigration, agriculture, international handling requirements, or foreign government regulations and requirements are met for every flight segment. Able to work any future international trip that requires advanced handling.
  • Responsible for proactively monitoring weather and air traffic control status and any other possible schedule interruption to client services, scheduling, and all other interested parties as necessary.
  • Must be highly knowledgeable of the flyExclusive Operations Manual, FAA and International Regulations, Company Operations Specifications, Company Policies and Procedures, and other pertinent information relating to his/her duties.
  • Maintenance Review (Ensure aircraft inspections are complied with. Verify aircraft hours, landings, and MELS are within parameters of the scheduled flights. Ensuring the upcoming mx events are built and coordinated with MX planners. This should give us a better outlook of what is dropping.
  • Updating the Dispatch pass down chat with information to pass down to the dispatchers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications
  • FAA Dispatch License or Pilot License
  • 60+ Days as a flyExclusive Licensed Flight Dispatcher or flyExclusive Dispatcher
  • High School diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent prioritization and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem resolution skills.
  • The ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship..
  • Candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment. This includes verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and any other relevant information necessary to determine the suitability for the position.

Preferred education and experience
  • A bachelor's degree in aviation, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of business jet performance capabilities.
