What does a flight support coordinator do?

A Flight Support Coordinator is responsible for handling the logistical and administrative tasks that ensure smooth aircraft operations. This includes arranging flight plans, securing permits, coordinating with ground handling agents, organizing fuel, and assisting with crew and passenger requirements. They act as a key liaison between pilots, air traffic control, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure flights adhere to schedules and regulations. Their role is crucial in minimizing delays and ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a flight support coordinator?

To excel as a Flight Support Coordinator, you need strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and knowledge of aviation operations, often supported by a relevant degree or experience in aviation logistics.
