Job description

Responsibilities of the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position include:
  1. Evaluating and recommending a treatment plan of care to allow patients to reach maximum performance levels through therapy
  2. Responsible for documentation of patient's evolution including evaluation reports on patient's progress
  3. Operate various types of oxygen and other therapeutic gas and mist inhalation equipment
  4. Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with the patient, the patient's family, the work team, and all levels of the organization
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Qualifications:
  1. Education - Successful completion of an accredited program for Respiratory Care.
  2. Experience - Two years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
  3. Licensure - Current State of Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
  4. Certifications - BLS and ACLS required
