Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Production Lead II to oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can inspire a team, ensure production targets are met with the highest quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Assign daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient workflow and equitable workload distribution.
  • Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members, supporting their skill development.
  • Conduct regular performance feedback sessions and assist supervisors with performance evaluations.
  • Promote and enforce adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure daily, weekly, and monthly output targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Oversee the assembly and packaging of products, ensuring adherence to quality specifications and production standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
  • Conduct regular quality checks and inspections of in-process and finished goods.
  • Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and cost savings.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, scrap rates, and quality data.
  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI)

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to lead a team in fast paced environment.
  • 3-5 years of managerial experience in a manufacturing environment
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • High attention to detail
  • Prioritization skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Be able to safely lift or move at least 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Be able to safely climb stairs or ladder.
  • Be able to work in cold or hot working conditions
