Job Summary
Become a Part-Time Table Host and be the heart and soul of our i9 Sports venues! You'll greet and guide hundreds of visitors daily, ensuring their game day experience is smooth and enjoyable. From managing the information tent and handling coach check-ins to overseeing fun concession sales, you'll wear many hats, all while providing stellar customer service. Regional Details
Our programs rotate seasonally to use the best facilities in the area. This position covers our North Cluster, including:
  • Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, Ontario, Chino Hills, Eastvale, and Jurupa Valley.
  • Assignment locations vary by season. Reliable transportation to all cities in this cluster is required.
Responsibilities 
  • Set up and break down information tent/table equipment in a professional and organized manner.
  • Check-in coaches and distribute weekly resources.
  • Complete merchandise and concession sales using cash, credit cards, and other digital platforms.
  • Answer parent/coach questions and proactively address concerns.
  • Relay any concerns or feedback to the site manager through detailed site notes.
  • Advocate company core concepts, including sportsmanship values.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and provide superior customer service.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and coaches.
  • Professionalism: Positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure a safe environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and solve problems.
  • Sports Background: Minimum of 2 years of sport-specific officiating, playing, or coaching experience.
  • Reliability: Reliable transportation to and from the venue workplace.
  • Technology: Must have a smartphone with internet capability.
  • Background Check: Successful completion of a National Criminal Background Check is required.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends, for the full season duration (approximately 7 weeks).
Payment for this position is based on a game rate structure. This means that as an independent contractor, you will be paid weekly based only on the number of games you successfully work during that period. Your total weekly compensation will be the established rate multiplied by the number of games completed; it is not a fixed salary or an hourly wage for time spent outside of game duties. This structure directly ties your earnings to your active participation in scheduled games.
