In this role, you will apply the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care. You will hold professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients and assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers.   • Department: GIG
  • Status: PRN/Per Diem/Flex/Float
  • Shift: Multiple shifts available
Incentives:
  • Compensation: $40/hour + Variable Shift Incentive
  • Employment Type: W-2 Employee
  • Minimum Requirement: 12 hours every 90 days
  • Maximum Availability: 30 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday)
  • Shift Options: 4, 8, or 12-hour shifts
  • Flexibility: Work when and where you prefer!

Overview:
Are you looking for a flexible Registered Nurse position with incentives? You can choose between day or night shifts based on your preference! There are no mandatory weekend, holiday, or shift commitments.

Participation in the Gig Nursing Program entails a commitment to scheduling a minimum number of hours, being available on short notice, and adapting to last-minute shift cancellations. Please note that this program does not guarantee shift hours and will be prioritized for cancellations.

Qualifications:
  • Required Education: Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements.
  • Experience:
    • One year of recent bedside RN experience for Medical-Surgical roles.
    • For other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.), a minimum of two years of recent specialty-specific bedside RN experience is required.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Epic software
  • Certifications:
    • For Med-Surg, Behavioral Health, and Women's Health: BLS
    • For Critical Care: BLS, ACLS
    • For Emergency Department: BLS, ACLS, & PALS
    • Additional certifications may be required post-hire.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Prolonged standing and walking during each shift
  • Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary for job duties
