Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
  • Deliver therapeutic services, including individual, couples, and group counseling, utilizing a variety of interventions suitable for diverse populations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, including ongoing communication with medical providers and other mental health specialists.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations, ensuring ethical standards are met.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision, case discussions, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will support a varied client demographic facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health disorders. Our approach emphasizes a respectful, empathetic relationship with clients, allowing for healing and personal growth, often within a supportive group therapy format. By addressing both historical and situational factors influencing mental health, you will help clients navigate their emotional landscape and achieve their treatment goals.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two years of experience providing individual and group therapy in a mental health setting.
  • Competence in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, demonstrating the ability to adapt techniques to suit various client needs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining ethical practices and confidentiality in all client dealings.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with telehealth delivery models and understanding of the unique considerations related to virtual counseling.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Experience working in trauma-informed care, especially with clients who have experienced addiction or significant life disruptions.
Compensation and Benefits

  • Generous paid time off policies, including vacation days, sick leave, and paid holidays.
  • Professional development opportunities, including assistance for continuing education and networking events.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program, which offers a variety of resources to support your well-being both personally and professionally.
