Responsibilities in this position are to plan, supervise the conduct of system/product performance analysis, requirements development, RF system/product architecture design, system/product development, system/product implementation and performance verification of various military ground and airborne communication products. The SME is also is responsible for the program's Earned Value including generation and presentation of the quarterly Estimate At Completion (EAC) of the assigned Systems Engineering domain efforts. * Developing coherent product specifications from multiple disparate source documents
* Performing analysis of signals in space, receivers and transmitters
* Developing simulations and analyzing the performance/impact of fielded equipment
* Managing the requirements baseline
* Ensuring all requirements are met.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Required Education, Experience, & Skills * Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field, and minimum of 10+ years of work experience or equivalent experience.
* Must hold an active Secret clearance and eligible to acquire SCI and additional SAP/SAR clearance.
* Prior experience leading a Large-sized team of System Engineers.
* Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test).
* Leadership experience of a team of engineers.
* Working experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management.
* Prior experience with Model based systems engineering with tools such as Magic Draw.
* Prior experience implementing Agile engineering methodologies on large development programs.
* Prior experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience interfacing with upper management; customer facing. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 8+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 6+ years of experience.
* Hold an active Top Secret clearance and eligible to acquire SCI and additional SAP/SAR clearance.
* Work experience with Electronic Warfare programs.
* Bid and proposal experience on major life cycle programs.

Full-Time Salary Range: $122400 - $208080 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
